Housing Hosts

The Florida Philharmonic is looking for gracious hosts to provide rooms for our stellar musicians who travel a distance for rehearsals and performances. This is your opportunity to get to know one of our outstanding musicians. Host only when it is convenient for you. All you need is to provide a private bedroom, bathroom, and your generous spirit.

Box Office – Concerts

Volunteers working with the concert box office will assist the Box Office Manager in selling tickets using our ticketing software, passing out will-call tickets, and answering patron questions. We want to ensure you feel prepared and confident in your role, so training will be provided.

Greeter and Usher

Concert greeters provide a first face on concert afternoons. They are responsible for welcoming patrons, checking tickets, handing out programs, and ushering. In addition, concert greeters answer basic questions about general seating, subscriber seating, and accessibility.

Parking

Parking volunteers help direct traffic and assist with parking. Previous experience is a plus.

Clean-Up Crew

As part of our agreement with the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, we are responsible for cleaning up after the concerts. Duties include vacuuming, picking up programs, and straightening the lobby area.
